Logistic in Piacenza

Piacentina S.r.l. is able to offer its customers a logistic service with multiple possibilities of grouping, format and types of packaging.

The operating site is 70,000 square meters of which 30,000 square meters are covered. The storage area, 7 m below the beam, is divided into:

• 9,500 square meters for storage in the hold,
• 2,400 square meters for storage in shelves,
• 9,000 square meters for the management and preparation of orders.

In total, around 17,000 pallets of labeled products and 2,000 semi-finished pallets can be stored.

To facilitate loading and unloading operations there are 7 loading flaps adjacent to the storage areas.

In addition to the storage of the semi-finished product intended for secondary packaging and labeled products, we provide all the necessary activities for the preparation of orders with shipping according to customer requests (complete pallet, picking with multi-code bank, etc.) and all the activity of issuing documents necessary for the shipment, using a system of traceability of the products and the related activities.

The purpose that Piacentina srl wants to obtain is the logistics management of the agri-food system that allows to manage within a single site the phases that are usually distributed in multiple areas, reducing the physical movement of the product and finding the operational responses in a single operator.
